From my time at Tishomingo Elementary to receiving the 2023 Oklahoma Governor’s Arts in Education Award, I’ve witnessed how the arts foster creativity and confidence in young minds. As an author, I love bringing characters like Loksi and Possum to life in my books, "Little Loksi" and "Totally Possum." These stories highlight bravery, resilience, and authenticity—qualities I strive to encourage in my students.
